Access Policies
Print: Anyone can freely access our print collection and use materials within the library. If you have a valid U of T Library Card, you may borrow materials to use outside the library.
Online: Access to our online resources is limited to current members of the Faculty of Law and the University of Toronto community, due to licensing restrictions.
Use of Library Materials
While some of our collection can be borrowed, our reference materials cannot be borrowed, including print reports, statutes, and journals.
You cannot store books in carrels or on tables without permission from our staff. All materials are cleared each morning and reshelved.
Security & Personal Belongings
Do not leave your personal belongings unattended in the Library. Thefts have occurred in our library. We advise always keeping your electronic devices and other valuables with you.
University of Toronto Library Code of Conduct
Our library visitors must also follow the University of Toronto Library Code of Conduct.
