LLM Seminar: Research

Description

This seminar will focus on workshopping ongoing research and writing projects, such as an LLM thesis or a directed research paper. Every enrolled student is required to present work in progress at least once during the term. Manuscripts will be circulated in advance. Students are expected to come to the seminar having read the manuscript(s) and prepared to discuss the week’s presentation(s). Class time will be devoted to a brief oral presentation followed by discussion, moderated by the teaching assistant. Students should expect to actively participate, whether by presenting work or offering feedback on it, every week.

Evaluation

Pass/fail based on regular attendance, participation and presentation.
