Melissa Upreti

Melissa Upreti, BA, LLB, LLM,a human rights lawyer and women’s rights advocate from Nepal, now serves as Regional Director of the Asia and Pacific Programme of the Interrnational Commission of Jurists.  She is former Chair of the UN Working Group on Discrimination Against Women and Girls. (UNDAWG) and founding director of the Asia Program at the Center for Reproductive Rights.
