Brittany is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law (JD, 2011) and Queen's University (BAH, 2008). After finishing law school, she articled and practiced family law at a boutique litigation firm in Toronto. In 2013, Brittany was appointed Executive Director of Level, a Canadian charitable organization, where she spent five years developing justice education and human rights programming with and for Indigenous peoples. She joined the law school in 2019 as National Director of Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC). PBSC is the largest pro bono organization in Canada and provides free legal support to people and communities facing barriers to justice. Since 2021, Brittany has demonstrated outstanding leadership across student services, experiential learning, and major academic and community partnerships in her role as Jackman Law’s Assistant Dean, JD Program. Effective March 3, 2026, she has also assumed the position of Head of Strategy and Transformation and Senior Advisor to the Dean. In this expanded role, Brittany will collaborate closely with senior leadership, faculty, staff, and students to advance Jackman Law’s strategic priorities and long‑term vision, including the development of key new programs.
