Description
This course provides a non-technical introduction to empirical research methods for law and public policy. It will focus on core concepts in statistical reasoning, causal inference, and research design. The course will also introduce students to the basic toolkits for qualitative methods and policy analysis. Students will gain competency in critically assessing empirical claims, evaluating legal and regulatory outcomes, and engaging effectively with data-driven research in law and policy.
